Boreman Hall West Virginia University in West Virginia Gender: coed Stories: 4 Website: http://housing.wvu.edu/residencehalls/boreman.htm Boreman Hall is split into two parts: Boreman North and Boreman South. Both are popular because they are extremely convenient to the Mountainlair and downtown classrooms.
Residents of Boreman enjoy a dining hall, multimedia classroom, kitchen, TV lounges, and laundry rooms. The Mountainlair and Plaza are just across the street.
Boreman North is home to approximately 227 female students. Each wing contains single, double, and triple rooms with a community bath. A recreation room with billiard and ping-pong tables and a kitchenette is on the lower level.
Boreman South is a courtyard-style building with several separate entries, and houses about 315 male and female students. This hall’s unique layout includes many double suites that open into a stairwell instead of a hallway. There are also traditional double and single rooms, with community bathrooms, in the “D” and “L” entries. While Boreman South is filled with mostly sophomore, juniors, and seniors, a limited amount of space is available for new students.
Boreman Hall is a residential college. This residential college offers special programs and activities which bring additional faculty members into the residence halls, and promotes individual attention. To apply for a residential college you have to complete a supplemental application. For more information and the supplemental application, please visit the Residential College web site. Priority deadline to apply is January 15, 2007.
